I was searching for stock photographs and I came across this photo of an industrial neighborhood in England. It was taken at the late 1940's. My first reaction when seeing it was: "God, that's depressing!" And then, of course, I thought Snape would blend right in.

I imagine he's taking a walk around his neighborhood, and I tried to make his clothes look closer to canon, but at the same time look like Muggle clothes. I figure that's how he dresses when he's there, and being a half-blood, he would know what to wear around Muggles. I also found some other photographs that inspired me to draw a whole series of Spinner's End-themed pictures. So, hopefully, if I have time, you'll see more on the subject.

I'd love to see more of this subject!
I like it very much, it seems very canon. Also, the nice details on the chimneys which look like bottles are great. It's almost surreal. A very interesting piece! :)

Awesome. Although, maybe its lighting or something, but he doesn't seem to be "in" the picture. Maybe if you were to darken his skin tones or something a bit, it would work better. Other than that, that's all the critique I can think of. If you want me to shut it, just tell me.

Thank you. That means a lot, because I always had trouble with landscapes and views in general. That's why I hardly draw outside pics. :)

Thank you! :) It was a little intentional to make him stand out a little, I wanted him more visible than the background. But thanks for the input, now that I look at it, I think the skin tones could be darker.
