This is inspired by a picture of the Classical composer Liszt. A friend is studying him and sent me a picture that looked incredibly like a certain Potions Master. So I decided to draw the same pose with Snape's characteristics. Funny thing though, Liszt used to have extremely long fingers, which made some of his notes difficult to play by smaller hands (like mine LOL). Well, we all know how Snape's got long pale fingers *sigh* oh well, there you have it.
WHOA! That is freaky! It looks so real... The lighting... The shading... The hair... the eyes... its all so wonderfully beautiful! (and sexy) My favorite part of this whole pic would be his hands and folded arms. They are shaded and proportioned to perfection! Why must you be so good with clothes?! Why must I suck? its so beautiful I weep.

Niiice lighting. I would like to see more modelling in the flat green, though, and maybe a bit more definition on the hair and the edges. Nice clothes, great shading.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Merry Christmas to you out there but don't forget: we are only guests here and so...listen to my favourite words... and look at all these wonderful pieces of art

And now it's starting up
Feels like i'm losing touch
Nothing matters to me
Nothing matters as much
I see you left a mark
Up and down my skin
I don't know where I end
And where you begin
